Deep Emotional Stabilization Groups
Deep Emotional Stabilization Groups are a structured, locally implementable group format for emotional stabilization.
The aim is practical infrastructure: a careful, scalable format that can support humanitarian, post-conflict, social-sector, professional, and regular community settings where people need grounded emotional support without building every group around clinical treatment.
Supervision and training are central. The format is designed for responsible local implementation, clear boundaries, safety logic, consent, local adaptation, and anonymous implementation learning.
The Implementation Kit
The next public asset is the Deep Emotional Stabilization Groups - Implementation Kit.
It is being prepared as a maintained, versioned Quarto implementation kit and is planned for public noncommercial release under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International, short form CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
The implementation kit is intended to help serious local implementers understand the model, prepare groups responsibly, use appropriate safety and consent boundaries, collect anonymous implementation learning, and connect with supervision or training where needed.
Who This Is For
- humanitarian and social-sector professionals;
- local NGOs and community-based organizations;
- psychologists, counselors, social workers, coaches, and allied professionals;
- trained or supervised local facilitators;
- organizations that want a practical stabilization format after training.
Boundaries
Deep Emotional Stabilization Groups are non-clinical educational and experiential group formats by default.
They are not psychotherapy, medical care, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, clinical research, a substitute for professional help, or a guaranteed outcome method.
Access to the implementation kit does not certify a facilitator, authorize use of DEWA status, create DEWA endorsement, or replace local legal, professional, ethical, consent, privacy, and safeguarding responsibility.
